Dawn of a Season - Limited to 25 Prints

Kyoto's Maruyama Park is one of the most popular cherry blossom spots in the city. I'll never forget stumbling into this small park on our first night in Kyoto: countless vendors were selling food and drinks, crowds swarmed the imposing weeping cherry blossom, and the atmosphere felt more like a party than a peaceful area for reflection. We came back at dawn to find the total opposite. We lingered under the sakura trees as birds welcomed the new day, an elderly woman soaked in the morning from a park bench, and a man practiced with his katana in a quiet corner of the park. Maruyama will always hold a special place in my heart.
